Okay, just some random photos taken in Washington D.C. Just thought I'd share.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy's grave site with the eternal flame. The home above was Robert E. Lee's home. The reason the National Cemetary exists where it does is because they wanted to bury dead soldiers in his front yard since R.E.L. joined 'the south' during the Civil War. Robert E. Lee never returned to his home after the war.
The Vietnam Memorial Wall... with Flower. There are now 58,260 names listed on the wall.
The Washington Memorial. You cannot tell through this picture, but the memorial was put on hold half way through the construction. You can notice there is 2 different colors of stone about half way up. There was a lack of funds during the Civil War. This monument took 36 years to build.
